Called toll free number for bank expecting to get automated phone system.
Got the bank and voice asked for age (NOT birthdate). I gave the answer and then repeated when system was stumped....."can not ID your account from this info". After 2nd try, it passed over to a human. Did this a number of times w/ same result.
Talked to human who connected me to automated system which asked what you might expect.....last 4 of SSN. Human thought I might be using wrong toll free number so called that one w/ same bad result.
Called back on cell phone (initial calls were w/ landline POTS) and this time it worked. Called back on landline with caller ID blocking off w/ same bad results.
Apparently I am not the only one w/ problem although I get the impression I might be in the minority.
