Anyone got any travel planned? 2018 version

I’m going to drive to Little Italy in San Diego for a day out and to visit a nice restaurant. Local travelling for now.

Just returned Monday. We booked this though Country Walkers, and I calulated that we hiked/walked over 100 miles in 10 days. CW's did all the heavy lifting, we just had to show up for dining and our beds, and carry small backpacks. This was a great experience, and the places we ate and slept were outstanding.

Went on a tour of Central America in June/July. Also visited major Mayan ruins in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, and Belize. (small escorted tour)
In August I went on an week long Alaska Cruise (singles travel group)
For entire month of December going on a tour of Thailand, Singapore, and Malaysia. (small escorted tour).

I had neighbors who loved Country Walkers. They went on numerous trips with them regularly until they were in their late 70s.

We did an unguided trip last Sept to see if the company lived up to it's good reputation and enjoyed the trip. We had a couple of 72yo ladies who both run 1/2 marathons and the two oldest guys were 67. One couple was on their 9th trip with CW and all (14) participants had done multiple trips.

Took wife to Ireland and England after repositioning cruise in April/May--in a wheelchair. She got knee replaced in June.

She's taking her daughter to Las Vegas for 5 days next week. Then she and a girlfriend are planning on a cruise in January--when the prices really drop.

My wife says I deserve a trip. I have spotted a $50 round trip into Orlando and a $369 round trip into Gatwick in November. EasyJet will then get me to my beloved Budapest for 55 pounds. We'll see what the next few weeks brings.

We are heading to Budapest in a couple of days. Why do you love it so?

Just finished a 3 day motorcycle trip in Utah. Amazing!

Finally did it. Booked eastern Ontario for a week in Oct, followed by two weeks in Cancun. Then home. First time booking Mexico without doing an AI. Need to figure out accommodation next.

What kind of all-inclusive resort did you do before?

We have done Moon Palace and Azul the Fives in the Yukatan. A few others in PV, Dominican Republic, and Cuba.

We booked just one week to Maui after New Year. Hubby has a few dental work in the Fall so we can’t go in early Nov.

We suggest you contact Maui Aviators to take an aerial tour of Maui, or a 3 Island tour. We did it a few years ago and enjoyed it. We are also using them to fly us to Hana where a Lyft driver will take us into town then do a tour of Maui on the way back.

Thanks for your suggestion, we’ve done tour of Hana this year by bus and got the t-shirt. We vowed not to be back there. We just want to relax and swim with the sharks, oops, it’s not Bora Bora, perhaps swim with the dolphins then.

Headed to Puerto Morelos Mexico for 29 days. Going to check out some Cenotes, Ruins, and do some snorkeling. First time in this area of Mexico.

Good month for whale watching in Maui.

Thanks for your suggestion, we have not done this for a while, we may do it.

It’s very good in Maui Dec-Mar for humpback whales. You really don’t want to miss that unless you don't like being out on a boat.
