Maternal grandfather circa 1930s

German, processed through Ellis Island ~1900.

Great pic Khan. My DH's great grandparents were German and came through Ellis Island. Wish I had pics of them to share with everyone. He was a violin maker and she was a singer. I always thought that's where DH got his love for music.

Can anyone identify that car?

The car looks like a 1951 Buick
The nurse looks like my neighbors picture from WW2, she was a WASP. I remember one story she told was she hated flying the bombers. Too much like driving a bus. Her favorite was the single-engine fighters.....

I'd say a 1949 Buick Super- Unless another porthole is hidden behind the little girl's head. It that caso it would be a Roadmaster.

Ha

IIRC, If the car didn't start the first time they would have to wait 30 minutes to try again.

Oh, Khan you were adorable! :)

Y'all must have been wealthy too because you had a doll....at age 8 I had a stick....:D

We need to see pictures every 5 years of Khan's life...

I recognize that look-- it's "What the hell are you doing wasting your time with that fool thing; grab a shovel and give me a hand here before I rip the film out of your fancy camera..."

It is a stagecoach and I'd say you were at Wild West city or one those parks that stage old west gunfights for kids.
