Another Halloween here and no ghostly encounters yet. I want to encounter one. By chance, even attended a theater that supposedly has paranormal activity. But no luck. Just looked like an old theater. Oh well ...

I was getting sick and tired of all the ads on TV for the various horror movies that hit the theaters and streaming services this time of year. One nasty ghoul will do this horrible thing to you causing you massive pain and suffering. Another will destroy you and your family. A third will suck your life force out of you until you wither into an empty shell of what you once were. Then I realized I was actually watching the attack ads being run by the candidates as we approach election day in November.

Watched a whole piece on local news last night. It was by a Hawaiian elder who told of likely places to observe Night Marchers. He warned that if you see them, turn around and leave as soon as possible. He seemed quite serious.

I have a friend who has lived in the Islands for 40 years and claims to have had an encounter. Here is a site which explains the phenomenon. I'm skeptical, but believe there are a lot of things we don't understand so YMMV.
