I love the generalizations about different generations. I am solidly a Gen X'er and a vast majority of the Gen X'ers I know are idiots when it comes to money management.
And the Millennial? Well, just last week DW and I were having a beer at a local bar and chatting up a local law student who had just turned 30. We were talking about different generations and being an older student when someone standing behind us made some comment about "Oh, you millennials with your participation trophies!!" to which the millenial responded, "It's YOUR generations fault you know; you are the ones that gave us the trophy, we didn't ask for them!!!" I think he made a very, VERY good point.
