Today is the end of my Amazon account but i had purchased a Gift of prime at the old rate of $119 for a year. I did the Amazon chat thing and asked if I could do it today or need to wait until my account expired. I was told if you do it early your 1 year date will start on that day. So i go ahead and click on the link to activate my new 1 year and it put the $119 on a gift card. I was on the the phone over an hour to correct the problem. I had to purchase ANOTHER Gift of Prime and use the AMAZON gift card to pay for it after they finally credited me $20. and have to wait unil tomorrow to activate it. NOT sure its been worth the $20 savings.
