Two years of meetings.
My old megacorp would have used up that much time and a few $100k just getting it in the inventory system.
Two years of many people's lives wound around a new box. Glad it wasn't mine, but I sure did my share of meetings that were similar.

I worked in the food business for 36 years. It's incredible how a new innovative package will rejuvenate sales. If a company can find a unique feature that is beneficial to the customer, then they can sell it at a premium for higher profit margins. Depending on if you're using an outside vendor (this is something used at the end of the process like this) or you have to invest in equipment to make it happen, it can be an awesome move. Who'da thought that it took this long for a huge category to go this route?
