You had a road!!! Luxury!!

When I grew up, our family lived in a pothole on the shoulder of the road!! We couldn't afford to move into a shoebox until I was much older. And it was a used shoebox at that!

We were nomads and when we got ready for bed we just took paper bags (free from the grocery store) out of our pockets and put them over our heads. 8)
