Name a recent Rock and Roll song you like.

Yep, The Strypes' Blue Collar Jane rocks. New to me! Thanks all for sharing.
PS - is it just me or does everything since say 1990 seem "New"

Playing for Change

These are a series of music videos performed from around the world. The artists are mostly unknown from outside of our country to the famous ones who have either wrote the songs or participated with the original band.
I enjoy these music videos since I find them uplifting in a world of chaos.

The album is called Mammoth WVH. The WVH stands for Wolfgang Van Halen who is the young son of Eddie Van Halen and Valerie Bertinelli. This entire album is his. He performs all instruments and vocals on the album. He and his band are on tour with this album. This video shares some of his talent and great sense of humor.

So glad EVH passed on those musical genes.

Noice! WVH keeping Rock-N-Roll alive!

Just two guys. One on bass and one on drums. We saw them live and they put on a great show.

It's a truism that as we get older most of us lose the thread of popular music and stop enjoying much new stuff. That's certainly true of me. I liked a lot of music (mostly some flavor of what would be called 'rock' or 'folk') through the 2000s, but in the last decade finding anything new I would actually listen to voluntarily became a rarity.

This thread is mostly to ask other folks here for suggestions: Rock songs from, let's say, the past 5 years that you honestly like as much as stuff from previous decades (not the ones you can kinda make yourself like if you try hard enough - I have plenty of those).

What prompted this is that I actually heard a new song I liked a lot on the radio today - for the first time in years. Kinda punky, kinda hilarious. I really like these gals. If you guys have heard other great stuff, post it here and let me know.

So, Wet Leg kicked off their US tour here in Brewtown the other night. Here is an article from the local paper discussing and reviewing the performance: https://www.jsonline.com/story/ente...-u-s-tour-milwaukee-pabst-theater/6978263001/

Wet Leg will be the indie rock band everyone's talking about. Here's how their U.S. tour kickoff went in Milwaukee.
