post your favorite oldies

I recently sold my 73 SS 454 Chevelle after many years of ownership. I purchased this car in the video. It a 1962 Plymouth Savoy 413 Max Wedge. This car to many is considered the first muscle car. This car is the 8th out of the factory and the first stick shift ever built. So it's the first muscle car ever built with a stick shift. My next door neighbor had one and woke me up every morning for school as he left for work. It's a life long dream for me.

That is sweet.

It reminds me of a tune Nick Lowe recorded. Not an oldie, but a nice tune.

This was a big hit in 1961, 60 years ago. Written by the great John D. Loudermilk.

OK Joe, this is for you:

Richard Blandon was the original lead with the Dubs. After his passing Cleveland Stills stepped up to the microphone.
