Sean Connery at 83 (not dead)

Hey, don't scare us like that :(.

He is getting on. This from 2015.

He is an inspiration for us no matter what age. Great accent, best Bond ever. I thought at first you were saying he had died, but he hasn't.
There were other Bond's? I don't think so...

He looks older here than DW's dad who turned 91 last month........but her dad, who appeared unchanged for years, is starting to deteriorate more rapidly now.

I've noticed, in these instances, that some people don't seem to age as much as most, but then it's as if they just stepped off a cliff.

I remember the first time I saw him in a movie. I was a kid and went to see Darby O'Gill and the Little People - a Disney flick. He played Michael McBride, a Dublin man who replaced Darby as the caretaker on His Lordship's estate. He beat up the town bully, won the friendship of the Leprechaun King, and, of course, got the girl in the end, Darby's sharp tongued daughter, Katie.

I doubt if the Irish have ever been more falsely represented, but it was a fun movie.

I've always enjoyed his acting in the roles he selected.

I also think he made a great game-show participant....

I think he was a great actor... in many many movies...

But, I cannot say he is an inspiration.... he is from the 'old' world... he talked about beating women a number of times... cannot remember some of the other negatives, but I think there were more...
