2020 Investment Performance Thread

-1.14% as of June 30. Raised a little cash in June for potential RV purchase in the next few months.

Here's my latest numbers, updated this morning...

+0.23% on 1/31/2020.
-6.78% on 2/28/2020.
-21.45% on 3/31/2020.
-13.31% on 4/30/2020.
-8.82% on 5/29/2020.
-6.56% on 6/30/2020.

As for highs and lows of the year, I peaked at 4.67% on February 19, and bottomed out at -30.47% on March 23.

I came close to breaking even earlier in June. On 6/8, hit -3.31%

Jan +1.12%
Feb -6.18% due to COVID-19 fear
Mar -18.25% COVID-19 triggers 3 circuit breakers and 2TT+ in stimulus. This time IS different.
Apr -6.10% Back to Feb levels. Wasn't as fortunate as Lord Ackman and his 2.6BB short. The world has changed.
May +.82% my city burns around me by way of rioters, but hey the folio turned pos again :(
June +4.55% (revised) For some reason I feel like this is where it 'should' be? I anticipate slower growth in the next 2 quarters. Remember the Tariffs?

Revised. My ole man is also 100% stocks like I am, but he is doing quite better up +9% YTD...he is heavy in Nasdaq with QQQ and MGK

Retirement portfolio -0.90% YTD through Q2 vs benchmark -2.33% VTHRX (Vanguard Target 2030). Allocation follows VTHRX.

My taxable account is up 70.4% YTD, quite pleased with that.

Overall I think we are up a couple % because a large 401K invested in "safe" index funds is dragging everything down.

-2.21% YTD as of June 30, 2020
AA : 67/27/6
I'm similar, at -2.1% with AA target of 67/30/3. All-in, spend adjusted. I've done more rebalancing than usual because of the turmoil.

-3.9%
I sold bonds for CD’s, I knew I shouldn’t mess with things.

+3.9%. I am very much OK with that for what all has gone on. Not sure where to go from here.

+4.5% in a 40/60 allocation. I only have four individual stocks, but they have all done very well this year.

-1.44% YTD 50/50 Pretty happy with that recovery, hope it holds. Was at -16% in March.

YTD I'm -2.01%. AA is 50/28/22 (stock/bond/cash) VTI is -3.8% so I'm feeling good enough, holding a lot of cash as equities are expensive and bonds don't look good, waiting for a buying opportunity but not reducing equities any further.

-.29% for the year.

My US bonds are up 6.26%, so there's that.

Heckuva lot better than I was feeling in early April.

I'm 45 stock/45 bond/10 cash.

As of 6/30, I am up 4.17% for the year with a balanced allocation that includes cash. I do not trade.

I suck, -2.4% too much cash doing very little.

Holding the cash for imminent buying opportunities/market declines?

Yes + living expenses, excess due to maturing CD's and having sold some equities earlier in the year.
