Retire where your kids will want to visit you?

[emoji1787] c’mon, you really don’t want to leave them (and grandkids presumably now or in the future), do you?

I guess it gives someone an incentive to travel.
If my daughters family had not moved to Arkansas a few years ago, I probably would never have gone there. Recently they went to New Hampshire. Another state I have never been to. So far. :greetings10:

It's true I stay in town because of my children. :)

And more than that, all my 3 siblings, my mother, and myself are living within a 3-mile radius of one another. We get along reasonably well.

We take turns to host big family get-togethers for the holidays, Mother's Day, and Father's Day.

you can come visit any time, NW.
We used to have your situation and it has been a very difficult transition for us. I was the lone wolf across the mountains, and then, one by one, the family group broke up.
Family farms were sold and people passed away, sisters moved closer to children in the greater Seattle area.
