What Book to Give Nephew as Wedding Present?

We are about to give a wedding present to one of our nephews who is currently engaged. We will give cash and some advice in book form. I was that age a long time ago and in that situation and money was what I wanted most. I never got the advice until I signed up here.

So, in addition to cash, we are going to give a hard cover copy of "The Joy of Cooking" which is my go to cookbook which was given to me by my mother back in 1976 when we got married.

The other book I want to give if something like The Millionaire Next Door or something about how to save and invest.

What do you guys suggest? We only want to give two books, one a cookbook and one starting-out financial book. I am also going to send him this site's address and hope he reads some of it.

I would consider a subscription to Money magazine or to Kiplinger's Personal Finance.

I am glad you are giving a cookbook! That is a great choice.
Also, I think this one, the revised version that Jason Zweig worked on, is a great choice: The Intelligent Investor.
