Iceland waterfall

Newly FIREd for the purpose of adventure travel, which I'm happy to say is going great. Been to lots of cool places in the last 4 months and thought I'd share some of my photos. Critiques/comments are welcome. I'm just beginning to try and take quality images. Dave

I made some panos on my last trip but I also used my 20 mm f1.8 that I got a few months ago.

My wife took this picture here in the New Mexico mountains.
Early morning fog after a bad rain storm last night.

(First thing I noticed) Incredible shot. I have never seen water that undisturbed.

Yeah, it was something I never really noticed until I downloaded the image and looked at it on a big display. Thanks

Just did a weekend at my second-favorite place in the world, the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad. Rode the dinner train out of Chama, and spent the next morning in the railyard photographing the magnificent beasts...

Several great photos above, but since I'm a train nut, I find ggbutcher's shot to be my favorite. I have to visit that rail yard - looks to be close to one of my Chicago - Phoenix road trip routes.

Same technique as Hesperus above - bracketed several exposures (3) but not as long - maybe longest exposure was 2"

I don't know why they have the same name - they are about 40 miles apart.

My favorite photo subject for 13 years. She left my world in June and I miss her everyday...
