OP here. Wow! My first day of retirement was one of my fastest. The removal of w*rk stress has been instantaneous. Like most here I had it 7 days a week and often woke up stressing about something. If this is what I have to look forward to I have found nirvana! Can't wait for day 2...

Yeah........wait until Sunday nite/Monday morning...see how you feel then!! Don't be surprised if you pinch yourself!!

Hurray! Impossible to put a high enough price on those years of life.

The information and personal experiences here gave me the confidence to leave earlier than I had planned, essentially giving me several more years of retired life.
