Thanks you Lady Hawk and Elf Ruler !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have our first egg of season ....

Thanks Lady Hawk !

Also, Elfruler.com has decided to stop the nest watch updates for ALL THE EAGLE NESTs in North America...

Thank You for all you have done for letting us enjoy all the eagle nests,

After reflecting long and hard over the last few months, I have determined reluctantly that it is time to retire the yearly Nest Watch page on my website. I began that page with the 2019-2020 season as what seemed like a logical extension of my comprehensive collection of statistics on eggs, hatches, and fledges on eagle nest cams since 2011. But I am finding that maintaining the page has become exhausting.

The nest views, high in the trees, with backgrounds of forests & mountains look so peaceful, but I'm surprised that with the volume turned on they are so noisy -- the wind can be very loud!

Wow!!
Thanks for sharing. I couldn't find a nesting couple last spring here. I will try again in a few months to spot a mating couple and their nest.

OVERJOYED !!!!!!!!!!

The other eggs is pipping, so hopefully we won't have any drama of a say two-week-old eagle beating up sibling !

I've been watching the Big Bear nest lately and they have been spending some time working on it so I hope they get to work and have a better outcome than last year.

Thanks for the update. I used to take a look once a day or so. :(

It was nasty in SWFL last week: 20F below normal, cloudy w/drizzle, etc. I wondered if the eaglets in that highly exposed nest would make it. The eaglets were sufficiently large that the parents couldn't use body heat to keep them warm. It will be interesting to hear what the experts have to say.

That's so scary. Jackie and Shadow in Big Bear California have laid 3 eggs this year and we're hoping for chicks. Since Spirit was born in 2022 none of the eggs have hatched since. She always seems to lay them at the worst time of year for snow up here so unsure if that's part of the problem or not. All we can do is hope.

We now have 3 eaglets in the Big Bear nest. The little bobbleheads are so cute.

I’m finding the live stream of this eagle family pretty addictive with the feeding of the young, nest landings and “conversations” between the adults. For instance right now it looks like a winter storm is blowing through but they are touching it out

I'm also addicted to this nest and just leave it running on my TV all day. The chicks were born in the last storm and we may get 2 feet of snow tonight up there so it's very concerning but Jackie and Shadow are great parents. Their eggs have not hatched in the past two years so i's great to see 3 chicks in the nest this year and I hope they all make it. Their last eaglet Spirit was born 3 years ago and she was a real pistol and may even still be in the area since there is an immature eagle that has actually come to the nest a few times and they have not attacked it which is very unusual. There are videos on the site of her when she was a super demanding chick and ran her parents ragged trying to keep her happy and full as she attacked them constantly. I also love their conversations.
