I would say between 1-2 hours a day. Hard to average because I can go several days without turning the thing on (and those tend to be the best days!).
Zero hour per day, on average. There are too many other amazing things to do in retirement! We do watch Netflix documentaries now and then, but not enough to bring the average up to an hour a day.
I'd love to fall asleep earlier at night! Once I get to sleep, I could sleep forever. But falling asleep easily is one of those wonderful skills that I don't have.So what do you do as it gets to later evening to keep awake and aware?
I thought you were an avid gamer as well?

There is so much to do, so much fun to be had, and so many intriguing mysteries. Life is way too short. At night, often I glance at the clock and realize it's almost sunrise. Oops!
For instance, if you enjoy trying to figure out really grisly true crime mysteries, which I do, who REALLY killed the Kennedys? are you absolutely, positively certain beyond a shadow of a doubt? Where is Jimmy Hoffa's body, and how did it get there? From a logical, unbiased, fact based viewpoint, will Ghislaine Maxwell turn out to be guilty or innocent once her trial is done and the evidence weighed by the jury? I have no idea. Defense starts Monday. Oh, and did law enforcement ever figure out who Jack the Ripper was, for sure? I forgot.
I could go on.... Well for example I was completely engrossed with the story of the Baton Rouge serial killer, until he was found and convicted (as you might imagine since I lived in that neighborhood at the time). Most of these topics were best suited to internet or library research, maybe not TV.
Absolutely! I spend more time playing Animal Crossing on my Nintendo Switch, than I do exploring grisly real life unsolved murders. I just got carried away when writing about the latter, so I decided to quit while I was ahead!I thought you were an avid gamer as well?
