Money setting on the sidelines is an often used term, although it may be difficult to define. I mean money setting on the sidelines waiting to be put into stocks.
I have looked but maybe someone has better google foo than I.

My recollection is it peaked at $5.1T. last I heard was $4.7T. have not seen a graph.
