Is there a way to Change My ER UI? (See Attached Pic)

I would like to remove these 2 Panes.

One possibility:
Select "User CP" menu at the top, then under "Settings & Options" select the "Edit Options" choice. Scroll way down till you see the "Forum Skin" choice and select "Mobile". Then save. That definitely gets rid of the extraneous stuff - though may be a bit too austere (or not!) for viewing on a standard PC. I didn't see any improvement with the 2.0 skin and didn't try the 1.0 one, so maybe that would help.
