Just got 1st implant - now what?

Where did you get a full implant process for $900??

It was just the implant itself for $900. The abutment needs to be screwed in and torqued after the implant grows to the the jaw bone in 4 months. I can get that done locally. Then a crown will be done by my regular dentist.

I have a dentist with a table top CNC machine that carves a porcelain crown in 6 minutes. Cost is $750 as it is a 1 hour job.

It's been quite a few years since I had mine (two actually) but I don't remember doing anything special other than maybe avoiding chewing on it for awhile. No pain and no problems whatsoever.

I had to have sinus surgery to have bone implanted into my sinus due the proximity of the sinus canal to the implant area. That was muuuuuuccchhhh worse than the implant but still not bad....just a little tenderness. Of course I couldn't chew on the area because there were no teeth there (back two on top).
