Now that I think of it, the rest rooms we went to at fast food places were in common spaces of food courts. Not stand alone buildings.

I've used the restrooms at standalone McDonalds a number of times this year, in several different states. Every state has different rules.

We are still planning to drive from Wisconsin to Florida in early December to stay until April.

My complaint about fast food restaurant rest rooms is that while they often have their Drive Through line open, the restrooms are still closed. I have run into more than one frustrated parent in this sad situation.
