My parents retired in northern Arizona 5 years ago and want to come back to central Ohio. They are having a rough time finding a reputable mover to take their things. At first they thought about using PODs, but they don't go to Prescott Arizona. Then, Upack was an option, but again, only service in Phoenix. Mayflower came highly recommended but they also will not drive to my parents. The only luck they're having are brokers that act as middle men and take a cut. You don't know what company/business/Joe is going to show up and take your stuff.
I drove the moving truck out there 5 years ago with my Dad (the largest Penske you can rent; I can't believe they let non-CDL drivers drive those things). But, my parents have accumulated some very nice furniture and my mother donated a lot to Amazon during the pandemic so a larger truck is needed. They're thinking 3/4 of a semi.
If you have any recommendations we would greatly appreciate it!
