Oh yeah, one other thing...I noticed the temp of the room you mentioned. A lot of dehumidifiers wont operate in low temperature areas (below 65-68 degrees) or will have to stop running the compressor and defrost the coils periodically, which will make the energy consumption rise. Look for a unit that is made to operate at lower temps.
 
All done. Dug out 27 rusty nails and replaced with stainless screws. Spackled and painted with one coat of oil-based primer and two coats of paint that's guaranteed against mold for five years. Looks good.

Until I've found a good deal on a dehumidifier, I've put a box fan on the window, and will use that in conjunction with the ceiling exhaust fan to get all the humid air out after showers.
