turbo tax keeps asking for activation

Looks like the activation is something Intuit is starting this year? Plus that their are some bugs in the process that still need work on.

I don't recall any activation process recently.
Of course their was that situation years ago when Intuit tried cracking down on people sharing turbtoax around and ending having to apologize when legit purchasers of the software had issues getting the program to run. Many people were ready to jump ship and try alternatives or at least give Intuit a piece of their mind on Amazon reviews. Ah.. those were the days.
Will be interesting to see if the activating thing this time around causes an uproar or not
