Blue or Red?? Take the test

Hey, I agree that the test is not rocket science, but it is all in good fun. Haven't you (SG) ever taken a test out of a magazine to see how compatable you are with your mate or something like that?

Truth be known, I'm really 16 and TH is 10, CT is 15, unclemick is 83, and JG, well, he's ageless. ;)

Ten and a HALF!

And unclemick is a 14 year old girl from missoula.

JG is female and 27. Law clerk at a very liberal NYC firm.

Be careful what you wish for - back in the open primary days of yore - David Duke won the Republican primary - a lot in the general crossed and voted for Edwin Edwards - currently a resident of the Federal Pen.

The old saw about FDR's (Franklin Delano) retort when after asking about a Kansas City pol - after being told the guy was a crook - 'I know that - I want to know whether he's our crook or their crook.'

It only takes one hand to vote - the other can be used to hold your nose when appropriate.

Still a Dem - after all these years.

So was my test.  But the analysis from mine is probably more accurate than the original.   :D :D :D

Well . . . no.  I have seen those kinds of tests and sometimes started reading them.  But usually I get about 1 or 2 questions in and conclude that the questions are vague, irrelevant, or written in a way to bias your answer, and the answers are too simplistic to capture my views and patterns of thinking.  I guess one of the things that indicates how compatible I am with my mate is that she has even less patience in this type of test than I do.   :D :D :D

SG, as with most thing you say, I agree!

I think those tests are a kind of fun way to pass the time (at the dentist, etc.) though.

I'm still surprised that I rated so low, I put that I didn't trust the gov't to take care of problems and I was against porn, that should have earned some points. Oh Well, Ted Kennedy and I are probably the only ones who chose to tax ourselves.

I scored 32 .....no big surprise for CT and others. :D

Cheers,

Charlie

Hmmm... not the greatest test, but whatever:

I cringed at some of the answers I was forced to give, but in the end I like where I ended up:  with a score of 18, right between Colin and Bill.

Guess that makes me the most liberal of all of ya -- a 6.

Great how this group is tolerant of lots of differening opionions though.

I think we should all find a small town in central California and all move there. This board is the type of diverse pool of thought and background I want my kids around. :)

31. I hope, one day, to reach 32.

I won't be joining the group in California Laurance. Now if your talking central Texas maybe.

I'm a 16 and since I am an admitted bleeding heart liberal, that kinda sets more resolution on the axis for those below 16. (I definitely needed an option of OTHER for some of these questions.)

I was expecting "Are you still beating your spouse?" to be one of the questions... :)

Would that make you a liberal or a conservative?? ;)

I scored a 14. Seems like there are quite a few 14s.

I started out my teens and 20s as a liberal, then became pretty conservative in my 30s and 40s. Looks like I am headed back to being more liberal in my 50s!

Probably atypical, but I've been stuck in place (politically) for 20 years.
Pretty sure I'm more radical than ever now.

I scored 15. The dual axis test (political compass) is a lot better. On that one I scored -1.1/-3.8 -- middle of the road economics, social libertarian.

Agreed. It's been a couple of years since I've seen that test. Anyone have the time to go searching for a link to it, and then post it here? It would sure be on-topic...
