Blue or Red?? Take the test

I guess that makes me a bit conservative.

However I think of myself as more of a Libertarian and an Optimist.

I too think of myself as "more of a Libertarian and an optimist",
but I am cynical to a fault. My ex never quite figured out how you
could be an optimist and a cynic at the same time.

Hmmmm

I score 10 on the one test. BUT the other puts me in the lonely quadrant with Milton Friedman.

Slightly conflicted? - still a Dem voting left handed INTJ after all these years.

Heh, heh, heh, heh, heh.

Probably headed for old age - grumpy independant curmudgeonism.

Yeah, I'm over near Gandhi, which seems like pretty good company to keep, except I don't consider myself at all anarchistic or communistic.

Interesting nonetheless.

Interesting that you scored so low on the libertarian scale on the polical compass test. Maybe you just think you're libertarian and aren't. Or perhaps the test is flawed. I found it difficult to decide when 'strongly' agree/disagree.

I have a buddy who I'd describe as libertarian, he scored a -6.0.

I can't explain this. "libertarian" is the best "label" I have that most people
would recognize, so I use it. OTOH, I think abortion is murder and that mankind
is destroying the planet. Probably (like a lot of people) I can't be
pigeonholed easily.

Left/Right -2.5 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.54

Funny I scored a 32 on the other one.

It all depends on the questions you ask.
