I'm eligible for a new free cell phone, any opinions as to brands or types?

DW got one of these last year and it died after a few months. Replaced under warranty and the new one has an irritating habit of deciding it will not ring when someone calls. I have to remove and reinstall the battery to reset it. I'd go with another choice.

Numbers is hard.

Retired in 2005 at age 58, no pension
