Big game for me tonight Car Guy. My season long win total bets are winding down. I have already won both my $1k season long bets with Steelers and Lions and lost my Bears. Sitting on 8.5 with Chargers so they need one more win. They have lost last 2 games. I'm afraid they are going to have to get it done at KC next week for me to cash it.

Good luck Mulligan.

I'm about even for the season myself. I had a couple of really good weeks but also had a few bad ones too. But we still have a few weeks of regular season play, as well as the playoffs and of course the Superbowl.

And, there is always next year

I have found I am best at spreading year long season bets than I am game to game fighting spreads... Though I do make an exception and hit up the local bookie through a friend whenever ClipBoard Jesus makes a start under center!

I would've bet a sick amount of money on the Steelers over 8.5 wins if I would've had the chance. They were 6-2 in the last half of last year after getting several key players back from injury in the first half.

That was my line of thinking and I definitely should have doubled down on that bet and skipped the Bears 8 over... ... I thought if I bet Lions over 8 that one of the two would surely go over the total.......But if I was betting game to game on Steelers, I probably would have lost money... They have won several big road games I wasn't expecting them to win and lost 2 embarrassing games with Bucs and Jets.

SK...you must have ties to the Queen. No "offence" intended.

Best first half I've seen the Cowboys play. Hope the defense can keep things in Cowboys favor in 2H.

So seems that the Lions didn't implode this year but it doesn't seem to me that they are going to go very far in the playoffs. Offense look sad against the number 30 ranked defence in the league (Da Bears - really - what the heck happened?). I expect them to go down hard against the Packers and then make a relatively quiet, early exit from the playoffs.

And the Lions look pretty low class in the win. Dominic Raiola should get a big fine and hopefully a suspension for trying to injure Ego Ferguson and Ezekiel Ansah helmet hit to the head of Cluasen was totally ridiculous. Perfect camera angle to see him drop his head to put the crown of his helmet through Clausen's earhole. Just gross.

J.J. Watt was very impressive today. He was rough on Falco.

Can hardly wait for the Lions to visit a cold, snowy Lambeau Field. Go, Pack, Go!

Well the Texans did a lot better today than I thought they would, especially with their 3rd string QB (Case Keenum) staring today and winning his 1st NFL game.

Saints lost and are out of any playoff hopes. Too bad.

The Cowboys (and Romo) were absolutely awesome. I don't think any team could have beat them today.

Not without a few dirty plays first.

Coach Caldwell said they were practicing for Rogers.

If the league does not suspend Raiola for at least two games without pay then all the talk about player safety in the NFL is just talk.

Earlier in the year the same guy dove at the knees of a Patriots offensive lineman with the intent to injure. This game is violent enough as is and to deliberately attempt to injure another player should be punished by the league to send a message to all players.

Lions' fan here but totally agree. Those two 'plays' were just disgusting.
