They should have fired him years ago for that boneheaded pass play call in the waning minute of the Super Bowl that Malcolm Butler intercepted for the Patriots to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

I heard that Carroll got a bonus from the Pope for that because it was the first time that 50 million people rose in unison and screamed "Jesus Christ!".

I'm watching the Texans/Titans game today and getting really confused. It looks like the Houston Texans are playing against the Houston Oilers. The Titans are wearing the old "Luv Ya Blue" Houston Oilers uniforms complete with the oil derricks on their helmets. I keep looking for Earl Campbell on the field and Bum Phillips on the sidelines. The other thing missing there aren't playing in the Astrodome.

I'll admit I am prejudice as a Cougar alumni. He is a gunslinger and has issues with the deep ball but he is a good field general and I think if he could get the right personnel around him - a strong running game with great OL he would do well. He has the aggressiveness of a gunslinger; the only problem is that while he’s got Brett Favre’s mindset, he’s got Ryan Fitzpatrick’s arm.

Regardless the Texans needed him today. I don't think Davis Mills could have won this game?

Today’s games had more bizarre, highlight reel, and cringeworthy plays than I can remember in one day. Hoping for more and a Ravens loss in the last one tonight.

Next week the Texans will have their hands full . The Browns don’t give up They have a 3rd string L tackle ..2nd string R tackle 2nd string center Just lost Joe Bitonio today . They are on their #4 quarterback . Lost #1 RB in the second game of the season. Lost half their defensive backs …Myles Garrett is playing with a bum shoulder Lost the left defensive end Obo. Lost Hurst their starting left defensive tackle ….I have never seen a team so beat up . Mary Kay Cabot says they can still beat any team in the NFL ….that is going to be a real battle.

Yes because NFC East is the weakest division in the NFL. Cowboys have only beaten 1 team over 500 which is the Eagles.
