In the first pic, I'm wearing four rings on one finger. They consist of my grandmother's wedding band, my sapphire/diamond ring guard, my diamond on our ten year anniversary and my engagement ring.

The second one is a diamond cluster ring I purchased when DH complained that I never spent money on myself. He hasn't made that remark since. The little pink ring cost $7. It has a special meaning.

The necklace belonged to my grandmother; it's costume jewelry, however it's made very well. It's really not my style, but I have worn it on a couple of occasions.

Wow bam! While your rings are a perfect 10, that necklace is a 30! Love it!

Nice, even the costume jewelry. I don't wear anything except a plain gold wedding ring.

Very nice - especially like the necklace. Very classic!
I have a collection of natural gemstone/mineral long bead necklaces from all over the country and all over the world. LH traveled a lot and always found me a necklace wherever he went. I wore them more when I w*rked, but I still find an excuse to wear them with informal clothing. I don't have a picture, sorry. :(

Wow, gorgeous... !!

I don't wear jewelry except for my lavender Ironman Triathalon watch.

During carnival I sometimes can be seen wearing beads that I have caught, like anybody else in New Orleans. That's about it.

In the photo, is the necklace the only thing you are wearing?

When I was a little girl I was crazy for rocks and minerals, but little girls from my era and neck of the woods didn't become geologists, so today, I love jewelry. I would probably be perfectly happy to go around wearing nothing but jewelry (in strategic places, natch). With respect to a FIRE goal, though, bling is like eating sweets and trying to lose weight; the more you take in, the farther you get from your goal...so I drool over the catalogs and web sites, but the credit card stays in my purse.

I'll try to take some pictures this weekend of the gaudy necklaces I've constructed of hand-made dichroic glass beads. It's a cheaper way to feed my dragonish desire for sparkly things.

No...

I was wearing a smile....

Please do...I'd love to see them!

Thanks for the compliments y'all. :) I took a pic of the necklace again in better lighting to show how it sparkles. I included the matching earrings as well.....

I am not much for bling. I have a very nice diamond wedding ring, but don't wear any other rings.

bbbamI, You have beautiful hands! You know, my fingernails are looking nice like yours since I ER'ed. When I worked, my nails were always a mess due to stress related nail bitting. I've started wearing nail polish again.

Thank you Purron. :flowers:

The only way I can keep my nails in decent shape is by wearing polish.

Yup, nail polish helps. By the way, I'm sure you must have noticed how I focused on your pretty hands while the guys around here...well, we all know how thier minds work:rolleyes:

Well, I am known for "firing up" a thread or two, but in this case I was trying to start a fun thread. But my neck gets the attention....my neck.

As a man, I don't wear much "bling", just a simple wedding band most days. But I do have a couple of nice watches for when I want to "bling it up".

I stopped wearing my SwissArmy watch since I had the cellphone which shows time. Heck, I use the cellphone only AS a watch, as I do not even remember its number, and do not give it out. The only one ever calls me is my wife.
