Cargo shorts - Yes or No?

every old fart I saw in walla walla yestersday was wearing cargo shorts. It drove me to drink more of the wondeful wine there...

I wear shorts for comfort. That said, any shorts below the knee flunk the comfort test as they do not expose enough "skin" to offer adequate cooling and many bind at the knee.
Cargo shorts are great for the additional pockets...but must be above the knee.

I wear all sorts of shorts. My favorite are adidas that feel similar to a bathing suit, but aren't. My calves actually break out when I wear pants. Winters can be a bit tough on me.
