OP here....here is what I observed looking out our front window this morning. That's the neighbor dog in our driveway that's leaving us its special gifts. No owner in sight anywhere. I could hear the neighbor wife and kids in the backyard (not watching the dog at all) while it roamed around in the front.

Yeah they roam all over different neighborhoods. Nobody's ever claimed this guy, he wanders around and craps all over.
