Looking at buying a 2021 Honda Insight, EL. If you have some feedback, please share.
Question from those with some technical knowledge: DW and I went for a test ride. The car needed to be charged. The sales person had no idea how long it had not been driven. The sales person charged it and we went for our few mile test ride. After turning the car off, the sales person wanted to look into the trunk. But the car had no power saved from our drive. Consequently the electronic trunk would not open. How much of a red flag is this experience do you think?
Conversation at Costco: Coincidentally on our way back home from the dealer, we stopped at Costco. A couple of cars away was a new Insight. We spoke to the owners that were very pleased with the cars performance. Only a couple of things, mainly about the humming noise the car makes when in electric mode was expressed as an unexpected event but not a problem. They have had the car about a month.
