I was at dinner last night celebrating a friend's birthday and at the next table was a family whose patriarch was there celebrating his 102nd birthday! He looked and sounded pretty good.

Guess I have to readjust my FIRECALC assumptions

My friends grandmother just passed at 106. My grandmother is almost 90 and just started occasionally using a cane. Tough 'ole German women.

My grandpa lived to be 88. My other side isn't as fortunate. Disease and addiction run rampant, didn't even know my Grandma and Grandpa.

I am planning for 95. Seems possible, unlikely but very lucky if so.
