At first, i decided not to post to this thread because I probably don't know about any best products. I buy cheap, on sale....decent stuff, not the best. EXCEPT, LL Bean is awesome.

Their products are great, and if you are not satisfied, they replace. I know a guy who got a replacement pair of $100 sunglasses because he lost the last pair! That makes me believe that LL Bean is pretty darn special. My FIL would return items three years later and get replacements.

Customer service is top-notch.

Well, in the case of the track bar, it's the only thing on the market so it has to be literally #1.

Bilstein is a top choice for suspension component replacement in quality German cars. This includes struts, shocks and related hardware. The Bilsrein TC kit is very popular. Really good stuff.

I am too cheap to use Bilstein in my cars. However, the handling of the RV when towing the toad was so bad it forced this cheapskate to spend money for the very best.

Scag zero turn mowers, I have a 'wildcat' that's rated to cut 3 acres an hour.

Duluth Trading Co. tee shirts 3" longer cut, say goodbye to plumber's crack. Most all their men's clothing is great.

Bag Balm, dry skin goes away, not pretty smelling but it works. Might have to go to a feed store to find.

They have backed off 100% on accepting these ridiculous returns that cost the retailer and endanger a very fair return policy. Returning clothes to LL Bean after 3 years and asking for a replacement for lost sunglasses are a perfect example.

I don't understand how people can do things like that. What nerve! They will ruin it for everyone. Hopefully these outstanding vendors will add in exemptions for normal wear and tear and stupidity.

I think that it is all factored into the price. I tend to buy things at Costco / LL Bean and (formerly) REI because I knew that it was no risk. So, over the years they have made a lot more off me than they would have otherwise. Multiply that by the customer base and employee "shrinkage" is probably a much bigger loss than customer returns.

I worked for a VP, he claimed he got a hot tub at Costco, used it right up to the date then returned it. What a low life!
