Just ordered up $400 worth of Wagyu from Snake River Farms.

Black Friday sale, strike while the iron's hot!

A couple weeks ago my girlfriend and I finalized the rental of a condo in Florida for the month of February.

This morning we booked 7 days in Mexico the week before Christmas at a very nice all-in resort.

We just bought two iPhone XS 256G phones and a Series 4 cellular enabled Apple Watch. We got $750 off one of the phones, plus our cell bill will now be $100/month for 4 lines. We’re excited to learn how to use our new toys!

My wife fell last year, breaking her wrist. At the emergency room they had to cut her wedding ring off. Now that her hand is back to normal, we took her ring in today to the local jewelers in Placerville, Randolph Jewelers. Randolph's has been in Downtown Placerville since 1852. It is the oldest fine jewerly store west of the Mississippi. We know the owners as neighbors who also own the local Christmas tree farm on their property.

So today we went in to see about getting her ring repaired. Turns out Charlie, the owner, is retiring and has a going-out-of-business sale with pretty deep discounts. Ended up buying my bride of over 43 years a ring to replace the original instead of repairing this one. She found the ring she wanted and a diamond for it as well. My wife is thrilled!

Ralph Lauren was having a 40% off sale for Black Friday, so I bought a full-length wool winter coat, even though I have gotten along without one since graduating from HS in NJ.

I did not buy one of the unbelievably gorgeous $4995 coats advertised on the site. Got a $360 one that was plenty nice. It will keep me warm while wearing low-back, above-the-knee dresses to shows.

Just spent a lot of dough on a new boat. It’s my first large purchase since retirement. It felt a little weird, but I got over it. Looking forward to my new hobby of fishing the backwater and offshore in south Florida.

I just bought a 55" 4K Smart TV (on sale of course) to replace the 40" TV in my band space. It will be used to display song lyrics and for YouTube videos.

It's basically a 55" monitor

Spent about $900 so far lately on exotic wood and industrial cast iron fittings to try my hand at a couple of furniture projects.

The projects will all probably end up looking like road kill but a mans gotta have a hobby...

Our offer was accepted for a $610k new condo 1.5 blocks from the beach in PV.

Will be finished January 2020. 2184 sq.ft.

Turned a $400 pistol into a $1200 pistol with modifications... love this 22lr target gun

During the past two months: New patio table, new BBQ, new 55inch LG TV, new bed frame, and new Honda CRV. I think I am done shopping for a while.

Got tired of driving my 6 spd manual Camaro, so traded it in for an 8 spd automatic:

Nice ride, but perhaps you can blow a little more dough getting a little space between the houses. :D

:LOL:Nah, we downsized to get rid of the big yard/house and all the work that goes with that. In my neighborhood all the yard work is part of the HOA fee.

OK..you get a pass. :D I imagine one day I will get very tired of yard work and will look for something similar. Right now, our rental house is on a .10 acre lot and it's absolutely miserable...am very anxious to get out to the new house where there is a little room to spread out.

Blew 3 grand on a Lazy Boy reclining sofa with electric controls and a 5 piece counter hight dinette set.

Yes we moved into town to a smaller lot to get away from all the yard work. At 64 it’s a drag.

Useless w/o pics!

Yea.... and ditch the coat. :D

Ummm... Maybe another pic without the dress too?

Well, we just got back from our Hawaiian cruise, and DW wanted to book an Alaskan cruise in April.
BUT she wanted to be in a suite. Well, 10K later, we got the last one available on that cruise. The ship leaves and returns from LA. NO airports!!
