Just ask them if they really want to look like 'old people'.They've made the 'why can't I get a tattoo/piercing/etc' dabates with our teenagers a little harder
OK....guess I will be the negative nanny here.....WHY did you get a tattoo?
Not ME....I have only done really smart things all my lifeI know why I got a tattoo....I was 14 years old and (even more) stupid (than I am now)......but I was slightly less stupid 6 months later when reality hit.
Egad, no. I hate any version of needles.
Plus, this skin is starting to sag. Who wants to walk around wearing distorted "artwork"?

as the OP, I've rethought the tattoo idea and decided to pass on it...thanks for everyone weighing in...
now, how about getting an ear pierced?
