west coast, hi there!
I'm more of a country (blue rabbit) type and live in a good size unit. But these guys sound like they are happy too:

BBC - Earth - Town rabbits downsize homes

There were even single individuals which lived in single burrows, studio apartment style, something never before observed in rural populations where staying in large groups can be crucial for surviving predator attacks.

In cities there was also plenty of choice, some lived in gardens, some in parks and some beneath or between large building complexes.
There are apparently upsides to city life:
A warmer city climate also added to their reproductive success. "It seems they have better habitat quality in the city, so they have better survival rates and reproduce more often and for longer," Ziege told BBC Earth.

Interesting.

I know a number of human beings who have done the same thing. Sold the big home on a few acres of wooded land out in the country for a condo in the big city. They can walk to most places they frequent, and the car is strictly used for the occasional recreational drive. Or to haul something big around.
