Got your flu shot?

I got my flu shot on Monday at my local pharmacy. I used to get it at w*rk. Now that I am ER I do not meet the criteria for getting it free from Public Health. While my chances of getting the flu are lower than when is was w*rking, I would rather avoid getting the flu if possible.

Good ole Kaiser... I was leaving an appointment, and while passing through the lobby there were a couple of the immunization folks there, all set up. "Hey, do you need a flu shot?"

Well, yes, I did. I handed them my card, went down the 'allergies, etc' checklist, and got the shot. The whole thing took less than a minute, and no (extra) charge, as the HMO plans include immunizations.

They've already got my shingles shot noted as due on my next birthday, when I start getting my 10% off at Burger King, Dairy Queen and Mrs. Field's Cookies...

What's the deal with pneumonia shots? I see those at the drug store as well?

How often are you supposed to get those?

Doesn't the ACA require that most insurance plans now cover flu, shingles, and pneumonia immunizations with no co-pay?

Link.

But I'm not sure what "most" plans means.

Edit: Found an answer here - second question from the top of the list of FAQs.
