6 weeks ago I drove to the dry side of the state to help my friend plan his new property.
This labor day weekend I labored on it :)
He had a dozer delivered Friday, and I brought the company truck and mini excavator, loaded with 45' of 12" double wall culvert pipe.
I pioneered in off the neighbor's place, setting the culverts and getting ready for the rock deliveries on Saturday. We got 7 solo loads of 3" minus rock and would have used about 12 if I had a choice.
This is looking out from the preliminary area I stripped for him to set a travel trailer on while he ponders the location and size of the shop and house.

He is bailing out next May, a year ahead of us.

This is one of his two views of Lake Roosevelt from the house site.

Wow. what a view. You are a great friend to help him.

It was not entirely free, he paid me for the lost day of wages on Friday. That was a bargain for him but I think we both felt better that he paid me.

Reminds me of my life living around Greenacres and Saltese Lake in the 90's.
