When I access early-retirement.org , I get a one page of recent threads which, until recently, I had assumed were the most recent threads. In recent weeks, I had the feeling that not much was going on since the same topics showed up (seemingly, at least) and ones on the bottom seemed to have the same count (replies). Now I think I'm discovering that the threads on the first page may be recent, but they aren't necessarily the most recent on all forums.......e.g. today on the "summary" page, there are/is at least one from 2/5 while, in the forums themselves, there are today's threads from
Health and Other forums that either don't show up on the summary page or
are below the 2/5 entry on that page. Today is 2/7 So.....how are the threads selected for that summary page?
Also I can't really be sure but I've had the impression in the recent past that the summary page looks different w/ different topics when I've gone to the library just a few hrs after viewing it at home. Home is a Macbook and library is a PC.
