Finnski,
After 60 years of Minnesota winters, I'm ready to try warm weather in the winter.
I agree it is busy around here, but we typically keep our travels to one short excursion a day maximum, and we try to go early.
Our townhome has been a haven of peace and quiet. We quit doing our tasks by 2-3pm, and take a swim in the pool to cool down.
(Note: See my pet peeve post about new noisy neighbor. Nothing is perfect. )
Everyone has a different idea of retirement. I get it. If this gets old, we will move on.
Take care, JP

Just one of many reasons I live on 8.5 acres in the woods of southern NH.
I do however know Bonita Springs well.
My BIL lives there year round and it is way too crowded and flat for me.
The last time we visited a few years ago it was 95 deg on April 1st. Way too hot for my liking.
