What We're Making

I bought this house in 2020 in middle Tennessee on 50 acres. Dreadful big hedges around the front, behind that no deck railing or stair rails.
Had the railing done professionally but decided to redo the deck skirting because the previous owner (who built the house) had just used cheap
I’m using deck boards and completing one section per weekend because of the heat. It’s a fun DIY.

I’ve also added bigger outside lights and black fans.
Once done the boards will be painted.

Picture of part of kitchen remodel. I still have the toe kick to install and the panels to install for back of bar. Wife not done with all the decor, but she has a start.

Nothing fancy but everything is new, and my wife is happy with it.

Nice. Is that Alder or Ash? Hard to tell from the Pic...

So not a 100% build. I added the 6 pack of lockers' panels and added the 10 doors to an existing mudroom cabinet that was a couple of years old. Then matched the paint color. Technically, a little challenging, but in the end, a happy client...

What beautiful work once again. WOW!

The cabinets are Hickory floor in Vintage Pine.

A client wanted to go from white and glass shelving to white oak internals to match his floors. Undermount lighting is coming...

Some people just have too much dough. Maybe I should put it in the BTD thread?

After finishing he said he should just take off the doors...

Very nice! I suspect you'll be back to give them white oak doors. And maybe a different color backsplash.

I'm not doing it, but they're going to an evergreen color cabinet paint. The pics he showed me looks nice, just not my taste. Fairly swank house for a young couple...

They are putting a lot into the bar remodel in a house less than 2 years old. They're probably looking at $10k for everything...he opted to keep the backsplash though.

Had some scraps & a need for battery organization, so knocked out this.

Also a neighbor was remodeling & wanted to refinish some 100+ yr seating for the entrance area... Lots of sanding :(

Made a flag box for a friend who's father recently passed. And made another for his grandfather who passed a while ago. He deserved a flag box also.
