Or you can call me Phil. Not too serious of a hobby, but I enjoy the subject and get a mild kick out of this phine phellow:

The Word Detective

I subscribe to both "A Word A Day" and Merriam-Webster's daily. Then I drop my enhanced vocabulary into conversations with our kid-- which compels her to look it up just to see if she's being complimented, teased, or insulted.

That's a good site, I had the free two-week subscription by e-book, considered coughing up the $1.50/month to continue it, but LBYM and limited reading time set in. Nice looking web site, can't go wrong with Alice, I'll put it on bookmark.

How come they present the problem of breaking the spaghetti to fit the pan but show the spaghetti hanging out of the pan, just as I cook it? Oh, yeah, they used the Mission Impossible line.

And how come, of all my cats, only the red tabby liked to eat dry spaghetti?

If there were black helecopters hovering overhead, and you didn't have your tinfoil hat on, how would the spaghetti behave:confused: ;)

Seriously, very cool photography.
