Confused about dryer sheets
I got disappointed only a couple of times, when the quality was not what I expected. But then, perhaps I expected too much for so little money.
That reminds me I once ordered two sets of blank key and the Transponder chips for my car, trying to create cheap backups. It is simple with the chip programing also got the programmer from AliE) but I had a tough time finding a quality locksmith to cut the working key from blanks. The one I tried locally just couldn't make a working clone (I could tell the resolution was not there and admittely the blade is symmatrical so it may be it is out of their expertise). I still have the other set of blank waiting to find the right locksmith who are willing to take the task.I got disappointed only a couple of times, when the quality was not what I expected. Dear friend,we feel very sorry that your order is still under protection period, and we will ask the shipping company to be faster, could you please cancel the dispute for us and wait patiently for more few days?
And it continues...
They just won't give up. Every time I get another dishonest message convinces me more that disputing this order is worth the effort. As I've said, the item was not shipped, and the tracking numbers they gave me were both from a non-US shipper. I'd paid for shipping from the US.
Just an update from my order.....
DH just brought the mail in and tossed a package on the table. I wasn't expecting anything, so I was kind of surprised. Turns out it is my package from AliExpress. I ordered pieces from 6 different shops but they put all of the packs in one package before shipping. I'm very happy with the pieces. Although I'd never mix them with real Legos, I seriously cant tell the difference.
I ordered 12/7. They shipped my package 2 days after my order and told me it should arrive between 12/22 and 1/10. Considering I got it today and the USPS isn't exactly "predictable" these days, I was pretty surprised and happy.

This all started over $1? You must already be retired to put this level of effort in...lol
You are right, I am retired. And you are also probably right to question my sanity.
But I look at it differently.
Today I got another phony tracking number. This is the third one. I also got another plea to un-cancel the order.
You see, I know that it's possible to get a tracking number without actually delivering the package to the carrier, then claim it's been shipped. Sellers on Amazon do this all the time. But Amazon backs up the customer if it's not actually shipped in time.
I am 90% sure this is a scammer, preying on "rich Americans" who don't know any better. They take the order, try to squeeze as much extra cash out of the mark as possible, then run out the clock with phony tracking numbers and "Dear Friend, I'm so sorry but..." messages.
If I've caused them some grief, I consider it a service to all other potential victims. I viewed this whole foray into AliExpress as a learning experience. If I never get a refund, I've already gotten far more value from the education I've received.
I should add that I'm not opposed to ordering things direct from overseas. I have had great experiences through other web sites, including one product I ordered through Amazon which came from China. I got a very nice e-mail back, thanking me for my order and saying I was their first US customer. And it has always amazed me how quickly things can cross an ocean and a continent to get to me.
