I received a letter and a free AT&T phone card from my LD carrier today. The reason for the phone card, the letter said, was that I was associated with the military (retired 10 years ago) and it was a thank you (100 minutes). I was glad to accept it, being a LBYMer, but I am concerned that they know that I have any association with the military since all I do is spend their pension money and receive medical care from them.
I asked the gal on the other side of the 800# that I had to call to activate it, but she was clueless.
