What new series are you watching? *No Spoilers, Please*

Not exactly new but have been catching up with these favorites

Endeavour (PBS)
Big Little Lies (HBO)
Billions (HBO)
Stranger Things (Netflix)

We've started watching "The Rook" on Starz network. British series that's sort of a cross between a mystery and mutants.

Has anybody watched Goliath Season 2 on Amazon Prime Video? Absolutely bizarre!!

we watched both seasons. very good. always enjoy watching billy bob. It doesn't appear that there will be a third season.

DW, DS and I watched the Chernobyl mini-series (5 1-hour episodes). Was excellent. The sets, characters and attitudes totally took me back to my time in Ukraine in the late 90s and early 00's.

The Loudest Voice (a Showtime mini-series) Excellent!

DW and I have recently subscribed to Acorn for British shows. We're really loving it. Currently we're binging "The Good Karma Hotel" and "Detectorists." Great stuff.
Thank you for mentioning those shows. I subscribe to Acorn but via Amazon Prime but it's hard to tell what films/shows are available for me to watch. I've put the shows you mentioned on my watchlist. (well, I found "The Good Karma *Hospital* instead of "Hotel"...)

After Game of Thrones ended, Im hoping something big comes up again.

Started watching "Another Life" on Netflix yesterday. So far it's pretty good.

Here you go: All Acorn Shows

We're fans of Brit cop shows. Recently discovered an older BBC series on Amazon Prime called "Scott and Bailey" about 2 female detectives. They solve a lot of murders but each has her own personal "issues". Have watched 3 seasons over the past several weeks so time for a change. But it's very good if you like that genre.

Not in the least bit new, but a couple years back I got the complete set of Hill Street Blues and am finally getting around to watching it. Of course I watched it regularly back when it aired. Really good stuff. A few things annoyingly overplayed, mainly Faye Furillo. I suspect that's because she was the wife of one of the creators and executive producers. But the rest of the show still holds up well.

Watched the first season of the HBO series Succession, about an aging media mogul fighting with his family over control of the business. Interesting glimpse into how people with real money live, and fight over it.

I’m re-watching parts of Farscape - I don’t know if it’s being aired because I own it. I am watching Dark season 1 on Netflix so I can remember what happened... season 2 is out. Also The Handmaid’s Tale on Hulu. There may be a few more episodes but 1-9 are out if you want to binge (in season 3). I subscribe when there’s something I want to watch - I don’t have cable tv any more. I think there’s a new season of Stranger Things on Netflix. There’s really a lot of good stuff out right now.

There’s an app called “JustWatch” where you can look up a show and see what channel or network it’s on.

I'm in Canada, it looks like I can only get to Acorn Canada listings via Amazon Prime... Strange!

That's too bad! :(

I'm an Acorn addict. Just started watching Dalziel and Pascoe this afternoon.

I am becoming an Acorn addict myself - I enjoy British TV shows. Acorn seems to have a lot of Australian shows also, but they don't seem as well-made as the British ones IMHO. Just started watching Code of a Killer myself.
