I've been thinking about this for a while, finally took the plunge and ordered a Tesla Model Y Long Range. By far the most I've ever spent on a car.
With the current demand for these cars, I won't get it and won't have to pay for it until January or later. But I'll still BTD in 2021 to upgrade the wiring to my detached garage, and that's going to cost quite a bit too. I haven't been this excited about a car since my first new car purchase when I was in my early 20's.
Anyway, the blow that dough part, before the skating party we went to a higher end restaurant, (little did I know how high end). My wife and and told the waitress to bring the bill to us, for 6 of us, the cost was $549 plus another $100 for the tip. Silly me, I reached in my wallet and pulled out 2- $100 bills, my wife started digging, then I looked at the bill, and pulled out some more, a lot more.

I purchased a stealth performance, no longer made, last May. Absolutely unreal. Makes you question why other vehicles are stuck in the past.
It looks like a standard model except for the performance. Don't think it was that popular and it became a confusing option. The other performance model has offset wheels and this one doesn't.Why no longer made? Was it "too good?" Any details?

For me it was perfect. I wanted the speed but not the 21" wheels because of our copious potholes in our area. I didn't want it lower like the performance model is either.
We took granddaughter and her mom to lunch at (national restaurant chain name redacted) the other day. I wan't interested in their usual fare so ordered a steak. I would have sworn it said $14.95. The bill came back as $22.95. I discretely had DW check vs a menu and she confirmed the higher price. I of course paid the bill, but wasn't too happy about the BTD for a steak I had to leave half with gristle and fat. Never again though I'm not anti BTD at a nice place. YMMV

Heated seat, front and back washers, blow dryer. Definitely a blow that dough appliance.
Ordered up some more wagyu from Snake River Farms. (4) six ounce tenderloins, (1) 20 oz rib-eye cap and 2 pounds of burger.

We are having the bathroom renovated and the Toto toilet just went in. This thing is hugely popular in Japan. Heated seat, front and back washers, blow dryer. Definitely a blow that dough appliance.
Skyking,@Teacher Terry that is a gratifying spend.
The installers damaged my stucco in multiple places, banged up the interior plaster around several of the openings, and messed up one of the windows.
Under no circumstances engage the services of Howard, Howard and Fine for installing anything.
