NFL: 2022 Season

I watched the TB and Dallas game last night. Yes TB/Tampa Bay (Not Tom Brady so much) won the game but neither really played that "great", IMO. Of course it was the first real game for the season so I'm sure it will take a while to get everything "clicking". (Unfortunately it looks like Dak got hurt and is going to be out a while) Still enjoyed the game. Tom can still hit his target pretty well but he was sacked a couple of times and had a few more near misses. I hope he's not becoming the "old" GOAT just yet. :) Of course that could be his offensive line. Personally I missed seeing Gronk play.

I think more so it was the offensive line.

Seahawks get the reward for the ugliest uniforms in the league... they look like pajamas... ugly pajamas.

NFL Power Rankings - Week 2

NFL Rankings - Week 2

Football has returned and nobody knows anything.
That's one way to put it after a Week 1 in which so much of the conventional wisdom that dominated conversation during the summer was scattered to the wind. The defending champs were humbled in their own home, while our No. 32 team entering the season knocked off one of January's NFC Championship Game participants.

The Bears weren't alone. The bottom nine teams in the NFL Power Rankings ahead of Week 1 played competitive football, with four wins and a tie among the group. It helps create an extremely unsettled league landscape as we spin forward -- just the way we like it.
  1. BUF (previous rank: #1)
  2. KC (7)
  3. TB (4)
  4. LAR (2)
  5. LAC (9)
  6. BAL (10)
  7. MIN (20)
  8. GB (6)
  9. CIN (5)
  10. PHI (14)
  11. SF (3)
  12. NO (13)
  13. MIA (19)
  14. LV (11)
  15. IND (12)
  16. DEN (8)
  17. TEN (17)
  18. SEA (24)
  19. PIT (21)
  20. CLE (22)
  21. NYG (28)
  22. ARI (16)
  23. NE (18)
  24. WAS (30)
  25. CHI (32)
  26. DET (25)
  27. DAL (15)
  28. HOU (27)
  29. CAR (23)
  30. ATL (31)
  31. JAX (29)
  32. NYJ (26)

Ok, so who are you picking tonight? Should be a great game but Chiefs will win at home. I hope.

Chiefs - since I don't have any money on the game they will probably win.

Guess it’s sometimes better to be lucky than good. Looking forward to many more contests between these two.

+1
Really bizarre 4th Q. JH is one tough guy.

Just heard that Jimmy G is back on the helm for the 49ers after Trey Lance got hurt and carted off the field with a bad ankle. Doesn't sound good as Lance got the aircast put on.

Now I'm thinking, looks like the 49ers got lucky not trading away Jimmy G as now they have an experienced QB but on a backup QB's salary.

Wow, Tampa Bay got lucky today with all the late game turnovers. Maybe Brady has his mind on something else.:)

Trey Lance has a broken ankle, out for the season. Yes, the 49ers are VERY lucky.

Meanwhile, Jets and Giants win, Commanders and Ravens lose. for a New York fan living in the DMV, a perfect NFL Sunday :).

Cowboys played like a Super Bowl team in 1H with Rush at QB, coupled with strong defense, and then everything evaporated in 2H, but came back in final seconds and kicked a 50yd field goal for the win. Burrow was stifled in 1H, but like week before against Steelers, and he brought team back and went ahead in 2H, only to watch a winning FG by Maher.

Typical. But it was a pretty close game...

I was in a casino this morning and "almost" placed a bet on the Texans for a win....

After watching the Chiefs make mistake after mistake in all phases of the game all I can say is ‘at least the Bills lost’.

Is it possible that even the Texans could have beaten KC today? (I mean the Texans played well, except for one really bad play)

Well changing the subject to something a little more pleasant... I'll be rooting for the Cowboys tonight, even without Dak..

I guess I will be doing the same.:)

I wonder if Dak is worried. Rush looked pretty good. At least we have "one" winning team in Texas.

He has played very well and could be a starter for many other NFL teams.

I have wondered if fans are worried about Dak coming back:LOL:

A good week of football for me. I follow three teams. Colts, Bengals, Falcons. All won this last week.

I also got my first Fantasy win for the year. Hopefully that will continue.
